Prelude Classics releases a carefully selected small number of recordings each year, paying great attention to maintaining the highest standards in sound quality, printing issues and design.
Our goal is to capture presentations of the highest fidelity, recording in locations that allow us to consolidate the author's interpretations using the best audio equipment.
We record in the convention of a top-of-the-line portable recording studio, enabling us to reflect both the performance and the acoustics of the venue chosen for the performance in the most reliable way for classical music. The selection of microphones is based on the characteristics of the most natural sound: Microtech Gefell, Royer, Sennheiser, Ehrlund, AEA, Line Audio. As a microphone preamplifier and AD/DA converter we use Merging Technologies, which provides the most transparent sound panorama among devices of this type in the world.
